Urban Lawncare, a well-established, family-run business in Northeast Kansas, had been serving its community since 1991. But with new ownership transitioning in 2024, they needed more than just a logo update—they needed a full brand refresh that honored the legacy while preparing the business for long-term commercial growth.

New owners Seth and Liz Howard were stepping into big shoes. They wanted to preserve Urban’s trustworthy reputation while modernizing their marketing, refining their messaging, and building a digital presence that could attract and retain larger commercial clients.

Storyweaver Brands partnered with Urban Lawncare to completely reimagine the brand—without losing its roots. Through a collaborative brand strategy process, we uncovered the story that had always been there: a hardworking, locally trusted business that shows up, follows through, and takes pride in every property they touch.

  • Brand Strategy & Messaging: Clarified Urban’s audience (commercial property managers), value proposition, and differentiators like full-service packages, dedicated office support, and education-driven client care.

  • Visual Identity Refresh:
    Honed a clean, professional logo system with fresh colors and typography that still felt grounded and trustworthy.

  • Website Copywriting & SEO:
    Wrote new web content from scratch, including homepage, services, about, experience, booking, and blog—all optimized with local SEO to target business owners and property managers in Northeast Kansas.

  • Marketing Materials:
    Created brochures, social graphics, service flyers, and signage to reflect the updated brand and streamline customer communication.
