The Challenge
In 2020, Atchison Hospital began a major transformation—one that would evolve into a multi-location healthcare system known as Amberwell Health. With the expansion came growing pains: managing a new name, new messaging, and the visual identity of a now eight-location system. The marketing team was swamped trying to maintain consistency across hundreds of collateral pieces, departments, and requests.
Amberwell didn’t just need brand guidelines. They needed a sustainable system that empowered staff, protected the brand, and scaled with growth.



The Process
Over the course of three years, Storyweaver Brands served as an embedded brand consultant to help Amberwell build a brand that could flex across departments, locations, and platforms—without losing clarity.
Our priorities included:
Simplifying brand access for non-marketing staff
Streamlining how print materials and promotional items were created and ordered
Equipping departments with tools that would reduce requests and increase consistency






The Deliverables
We developed an internal brand infrastructure designed for efficiency and ease of use.
Key outcomes included:
Brand Template Library in Canva:
Migrated all branded marketing assets into an organized Canva environment, categorized by department, location, and use caseDigital Brand Storefront:
Assisted in the creation of a custom internal brand portal where staff could browse, download, and customize approved flyers, signage, forms, and more—on demandSwag & Promo System Integration:
Onboarded Amberwell’s promotional inventory into the existing employee Ambassador Store, making it easy for departments to order branded items like pens, apparel, and mugsOngoing Brand Oversight & Consulting:
Partnered with internal marketing to troubleshoot rollouts, adjust templates, and ensure consistency during periods of rapid growth
